Who Is Organic Hygge

So what is hygge? Hygge is a Danish word for a state of coziness, a feeling of warmth and wellbeing that arises from doing simple things such as lighting candles, spending time with yourself or loved ones, and being in the moment of this togetherness perhaps with a soft blanket, always with a warm drink. Some speculate the word might originate from the word ‘hug’.

Hug comes from the 1560s word hugge, which means “to embrace”. This would be quite fitting.
